Public relations is all about events, events, and more events. When in doubt, throw a sports day or a family day. This is misconception number four in our ongoing series "Misconceptions about PR in T&T." 
In some cases, PR departments spend a considerable amount of time and resources on hosting expected events: sports days, fetes, and celebrations for every single holiday. Now, don’t get me wrong, holidays present great PR opportunities, and at times, some events are so ingrained in an organisation that not hosting them would be a scene, or even a scandal!
